Terms and Conditions

The Terms and Conditions listed here related to appointments and items purchased from our online store.

General

  1. Buddhist Counselling (BC) reserves the right to refuse entry.
  1. Every possible effort is made to deliver services on time. However, appointments may be subject to change or cancellation. BC is not liable to refund, transfer or offer compensation of any kind for services that are late, changed or cancelled for any reason.
  1. BC is not responsible for the safekeeping of your belongings.
  1. In attending services with BC, you agree that neither you, your heirs, assigns or legal representatives will sue or make any other claims of any kind whatsoever against BC or its members for any personal injury, property damage/loss, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
  1. Fees may increase from time to time to reflect increases in costs.
  1. The front door will be locked during appointments. Please wait outside if the door is locked and you will be let in once your therapist is ready.

Consent

An online consent form must be signed prior to your first appointment. All forms are stored securely.

Payment

Payment is required prior to your appointment booking. You booking may be taken by another client if your payment is not received on time.

  1. All purchases are final. BC does not offer refunds on services or products for change of mind, user error, injury, illness, change of address or any other reason.
  1. All services are non-transferable.
  1. Payments for services may not be shared. Anyone caught sharing will be denied entry and forfeit their payment.

Delivery

Our suppliers are notified about your order within 24hrs of your purchase. Please allow between 3-­28 days for delivery, unless specifically stated otherwise, and if you have a question after that time, simply contact us via the online form.

If you aren’t available to accept delivery of your package, it will either be left in a safe location or you will be contacted to arrange alternative pick up or delivery arrangements.

Buddhist Counselling does not take any liability for goods lost in transit, however we will do our best to assist if this situation should arise.

Refunds - Appointments

Cancellations must be made 24hrs prior to session to receive a refund. If you cancel within the 24hr window prior to your appointment you will be refunded 50% of your booking fee.

Refunds - All other from Shop

We understand that sometimes we all buy things we later regret. Whether it doesn’t fit or you simply changed your mind, Buddhist Counselling will offer you an exchange voucher or refund provided that:

• You contact us within 5 days of receiving your item. If the item is in your possession more than 5 days, it is considered used and we will not issue a refund or replacement.
• You return the item within 21 days of purchase;
• Includes the original packaging;
• The item is in resalable condition including it is unused and in its original condition.

If these requirements are not satisfied Buddhist Counselling reserves the right not to offer an exchange voucher or refund.

Some sale and special promotion items may have alternative return conditions, which will be clearly specified on the product page or at checkout.

Buddhist Counselling will not accept product returns and provide you with an exchange voucher or refund where:

• The product is damaged, defective, or substantially different from the item represented on the product detail page.

Buddhist Counselling reserves the right not to offer an exchange voucher or refund where the item fault is a result of misuse or neglect.

Buddhist Counselling will not refund return postal expenses unless the item is proven to be faulty.

Can I exchange or cancel my purchase?

If you have just made your order please contact us immediately via the contact page and we will organise a cancellation of your current purchase. If you would like to exchange an item once you have already received it, please follow the link above to contact us. You will then be contacted and given a return address. As soon as we receive your return, we will check that the conditions above are met before providing you with an exchange voucher so that you may purchase an alternative product.

What if my item is faulty?

In the rare circumstance that your item has a defect, please complete our online returns form. You will then be contacted  and given a return address. As soon as we receive your return, we will check that  the conditions above are met before providing you with an exchange voucher, sending you a replacement or refunding you the original purchase amount. If the item is faulty, but you have lost the original packaging, we will need proof of purchase (your tax invoice) to give you a refund.

I've lost the original packaging, now what?

In order to issue a refund, we will need the original packaging if you have just changed your mind or if you chose the wrong size. If the item is faulty, but you have lost the original packaging, we will need proof of purchase (your tax invoice) to give you a refund.

How do I return my order?

Want to return your purchase? No problem, just review our Returns Policy first (above).

• Contact us via the contact page. We will ask for your order number, contact details and the reason for your return.
• Once we receive your submission we will send an email with a return address.
• Re-seal your parcel securely.
• Visit your nearest Australia Post outlet to pay postage charges and send your package.

As soon as your return is received, our suppliers will check that everything is okay (meeting the conditions stated in Refunds and Returns Policy above), and then we will refund your order total within five (5) business days. Anything in an unsuitable condition will be sent back to you without a refund.

How will I be refunded?

Once your return has been accepted, we will refund the purchase amount directly to the account used to make the original purchase. Please allow five (5) business days after we receive your return for us to process and refund the original purchase amount.

You may not see the return in your account for up to 20 days depending on your financial institution.
